Soursop :: A Natural Cancer Killer

Hey World!:)

I've been doing some research and i decided to share the information with you.
------------------------------
The fruit in the picture above is called Soursop, here in Jamaica. But is also known by various names in different languages such as graviola in Portuguese, durian belanda in Malay, babana in Indonesian, guanabana in Spanish, gayubano in Philippines, and pawpaw (not to confuse with papaya) in Brazilian.

Extracts from the miraculous Graviola tree are 10,000 times stronger than chemo.

The National Cancer Institute performed the first scientific research in 1976. The results showed that Graviola’s “leaves and stems were found effective in attacking and destroying malignant cells”.
Also extracts from the tree were shown to effectively target and kill malignant cells in TWELVE (12) types of cancer, including colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreatic cancer.

Various parts of the graviola tree– including the bark, leaves, roots, fruit and fruit-seeds have been used for centuries by medicine men and native Indians in South America to treat heart disease, asthma, liver problems and arthritis.  Other benefits include alleviating migraine headache, diarrhea, cough, back pain, stress, high blood pressure and nerve ailment. Suffering from insomnia? Try drinking this tea before going to sleep.

Make tea from the leaves and bark. You can either use fresh leaves or dried ones. As the leaves are very potent, you only need one or two leaves for one person. You only need to steep the leaves in boiling water, just like making ordinary tea. The strength of the tea depends on the number of leaves and the length of time the leaves are left in the water.

Soooooooo i guess it couldn’t hurt to drink some soursop juice then huh?

Music : Rise Above Profanity

Well i decided to leave you with another performace they did in 2010 on our local television station, Television Jamaica (TVJ) "Change A Life" concert. Enjoy!

No-Maddz : Troddin'

Hey World!:)

I'd like to introduce you (if you don't know them by now) to a pretty cool, no scratch that, an A-MAH-ZING group. Jamaicans may already recognize Oneil Peart, Everaldo Creary, Sheldon Sheppard and Chris Gordon as dub poetry group No-Maddz. Poo Puku Poo Puku Poo.  Not only are they musically inclined and talented actors but they have a certain asthetic appeal which i really like!

Anywhere on the island i hear they'll be performing, i always drag my friends with me and "mysteriously" end up there lol. But i've always enjoyed listening to them perform and watch them enjoy their own performances. Plus it is almost like the energy displayed on stage, is passed on to the audience and you just "feel" it! Yeah i know, my description is kinda weird but i challenge you to go, go to one of their performance and "feel" the energy too. You'll be glad you did.:)

Check out their latest video launched June 2012 below titled "Sort Out Yuh Life Jamaica!"

Recently, Sheldon Sheppard (pictured above) took home the Best Actor prize at last weekend's American Black Film Festival (ABFF) for his role as a gangster with a conscience in
director Storm Saulter's Better Mus' Come.

Poo Puku Poo Puku Poo. Sort out yuh life Jamaica!:)
